Terms of Service

Effective: July 5, 2026 · Game Day Officials, LLC d/b/a RefIQ

  1. The service. RefIQ provides weekly rules-study quizzes for sports officials. Content is an original educational work: play situations are independently authored; rule citations refer to publicly available rule numbering. RefIQ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by the NCAA, NFHS, or any athletic association, and their marks belong to their owners.
  2. Not an official ruling. Content is for study purposes only. It is not an official interpretation, and it does not replace your rulebook, casebook, association training, or the judgment of your rules interpreter. Rules change; despite our seasonal review process, errors can occur. The flag button exists for a reason.
  3. Accounts. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person. You may delete your account at any time in Settings.
  4. Acceptable use. No scraping, bulk-copying, republishing, or reselling of questions or rationales; no reverse engineering; no sharing accounts to circumvent future subscription terms; no abusive submissions through flags or (future) community questions.
  5. Community submissions (future). If you submit a question, you grant Game Day Officials, LLC a perpetual, royalty-free license to edit, publish, and use it in the service, and you represent it is your original work. Attribution is provided in-app at our discretion.
  6. Beta service. During the free beta the service is provided as-is, availability is not guaranteed, and features may change or be withdrawn. Pricing for later seasons will be announced before any charge.
  7. Disclaimers & liability. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GAME DAY OFFICIALS, LLC’S TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (DURING BETA: $0). NOTHING HERE LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
  8. Termination. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
  9. Governing law. State of Illinois, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lake County, Illinois.
